Author:
Ethan Meleg is a freelance outdoor photographer from Ontario, Canada. This blog is his photos and adventures from a road trip around North America in a camper van…very brave! It also gives link to his website which is how I found it – www.EthanMeleg.com

Target Audience: The target audience seems to be anyone with an interest in outdoor photography and or him as an artist.

Language Used: The language used throughout is very straightforward conversational, quite casual with some humour as it is his blog about a road trip. There is always an informative caption, usually regarding the location, under each shot which is a gem.

Interaction: Generally they are just his posts roughly every 2/3 days however it does run to a week in parts if he has been busy either uploading/ backing up his ever growing amazing catalogue. Then there are comments from like minded or maybe aspiring photographers or even just his own followers which is quite varied. The fact that each shot has the tech explanation underneath means that he has answered any possible questions regarding how it was achieved before you even ask, very handy.

Chosen Post and Why? I chose the Point Pelee National Park & Holiday Beach Conservation Area as it was almost the end of a journey before his next adventure. He was visiting his mom still took some great shots in her yard! He goes through storing all of his photos and most importantly how he manipulated the image to produce one of my all time favourite shots. These tips are invaluable to anyone who actually wants to further their skill and also the listing equipment and settings means that if you were to attempt to recreate any such effects the trial and error time consuming factor is greatly reduced so nothing is missed.
