Chosen blog: (Zoriah-photojournalist
Chosen post: (war photography )

Ive chosen to cover the blog of freelance photojournalist Zoriah Miller (who goes by just his first name Zoriah). He has an incredible CV
and travels the world where he specialises in covering natural disasters, conflict and humanitarian crises.
His blog is a mixture of his photo work and personal descriptions (in English)of what he has witnessed. He tends to put up new posts of various sizes about once a week-sometimes he will post a large number of his photos, others just a few lines about what hes doing or where hes off to next. His blog often feature a collection of photos from a country, while they may also be shown as a collection with a similar theme-ie army tattoos, wall graffiti, portraits ,Cuban workers etc. Certain photos will also have a technical note attached explaining camera settings, equipment used etc. his blog is layed out in a long page format-where the viewer scrolls down through posts and photos along with their descriptions if included. the target audience would be quite varied-as he writes about his own thoughts on where hes been so anyone who's looking for a eyewitnesses account of events in Iraq or Lebanon may find his blog of interest, photographers of course would be interested in seeing work from rather unconventional, even hostile places..he also has quite an anti war, anti poverty stance which would include an extra demographic for this blog to be aimed at.
Many of his post contain comments and its very well set up site with plenty of links to other sites as well as easy navigation through his many collections.

Thisis one of my favourite posts and one that initially attracted me to his blog, the striking photo-which upon initial viewing left me with my own thoughts as to what was happening-then when reading on i got a totally different series of events..aside form the great photo i also liked how he talked about the days events, not putting a strong anti war tilt on things but emphasing the chaos of war.

My comments on blogs:
brilliant Halloween photo shopped images
Bush toilet graffiti
Obama
Cuba condoms
