Chosen blog: ubergizmo (www.ubergizmo.com)

Ubergizmo is one of the largest gadget blogs on the internet. It was founded by Hubert Nguyen and Eliane Fiolet who are now both the main editors of the site. Hubert has an extensive background in programming and computer game development while Eliane has a background in graphic design and currently owns a Corporate ID design business. The main topics addressed by this blog are new gadgets, the applications on the gadgets and the technologies that make the gadgets go. The site posts several new blogs daily and will regularly get between 200-300 posts per week. The site is primarily aimed at gadget lovers but is not exclusive to "gadget geeks" as the language used to describe the technologies is simple and easy for anyone to understand. To help you decide which gadgets you may or may not need, everything from the design, to user interface practicality, pricing and competition, are taken into consideration. The layout is straight forward and easy to navigate. Along the side you will find a list of topics to search through or you can simply scroll through the latest posts. Each new post has a picture of a new gadget and a short article discussing its relevance. The interaction between users and the bloggers is good. You can expect to get a reply to a reasonable question within a day or so from either the site administrators or from another fellow blog user.

Chosen post: new lease of life for optical drive.(Here)

The post I picked as my favorite was the "new lease of life for optical drive" article because it gave quite a simple and novel way of playing your CD`s through your car stereo by just using an old optical drive which you may have discarded otherwise.
